A former Portfolio Manager and Principal at Franklin Templeton Funds, founder of children's clothing line "Spike and Annie" she is active on the boards of St. Lawrence University, Chairs the Advisory Board at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University (The Earth Institute), and Conservation South Africa (a subsidiary of Conservation International), as well as Mission Markets, (a web based platform providing investors with a way of investing in Mission based companies). Her philanthropy has financed the Law Students for Reproductive Justice, BOMA (a micro finance grant-based NGO in Northern Kenya) and NGO's throughout the U.S., Africa, Burma, Thailand and India. Her social issue documentaries include the Academy Award nominated The Square (winner of both the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals Audience Awards), Chasing Ice and The Invisible War, as well as the critically acclaimed Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders, The Last Mountain, MissRepresentation, and Midway. She holds a B.S. in Biology from St. Lawrence University.
